If I am taking medications can I still take these nutritional supplements?
Although supplements may be taken with most medications and may help to get even better results than by just taking the medications by themselves, there may be some interactions that may be important to know about so check with your physician and/or pharmacist.
Are these supplements independently certified for quality, purity and potency?
Yes, every batch is tested for quality, purity, and potency.
Should I be concerned about taking supplements if I am pregnant?
It is always best to check with your physician when taking any products during pregnancy.
If I have a sensitive stomach will I have any problems taking any of these dietary supplements?
Most people will tolerate these supplements well. If there are any concerns, build up the supplements by taking one per day for a couple of days and increase to the recommended amount every couple of days. Supplements are also best tolerated with food so take them in the middle of a meal.
When is the best time to take supplements?
Most supplements are best taken with food but check with your practitioner and/or the product label instructions for the best time to take them. Some supplements such as amino acids, probiotics and some herbs are best taken before meals or away from food, but always check with your physician to be sure.
